Planetwide Nightlife

http://www.fractalforums.com/index.php?action=gallery;sa=view;id=15772

The Herman City Redux Riemann sphere rendered as an actual sphere. The backdrop is another Triskelion Julia set in normal Cartesian projection; that Julia set is spacefilling.

The planet has both a matte and a luminous layer, generated using somewhat different colorings but the same (Herman City) Julia set in the same position and orientation. The luminous layer is the Herman City Redux coloring.

Very beautiful. And nice to have such a clean air traffic. Maybe you should try to predict its future smiley
