Christian, the lack of suitable locomotive was the reason this image hung around for months, THEN I thought I'll just move it all a little further down the line  smiley   I used Photobie Design Studio freeware for a quick way to do layering (sometimes I use GIMP.)

Paul, maybe Carnival, as in Ray Bradbury's "Something Wicked This Way Comes", one of my favourite authors.

Yes, a very good reference!!!   I wish I had thought about that initially.   And he is definitely one of my top five authors of all time!!!    cheesy

I think I see "Mr. Dark" there lurking about, and probably looking for Jim Nightshade and William Halloway.
