This started as only a test image for a rendering technique I wanted to try, but after seing the result I decided to post it.
There are 3 layers rendered with Fragmentarium separately, then blended in Photoshop. The layers are: x-ray tracing, specular map, and ambient occlusion.
The formula used is the standard scale 2 mandelbox.

Nice to see others experimenting with rendering techniques and etc. — especially when it generates good results.
