Guest | February 23, 2011, 08:58:38 PM I had a problem with Bryce Jpegs as I haven't yet worked out how to reduce compression, so now I save as BMP and convert to jpg in gimp. In Bryce I suppose I should have switched to fine art anti aliasing for the final render, but my eyes don't see much difference. I could try thin brush smoothing in gimp, but that tends to make the render look painted. I really don't know what else to do but thanks everyone for your comments, including criticism - it all helps. |
Madman | February 22, 2011, 11:23:03 PM I love the setting and composition! I think you could make it even better by reducing anti-aliasing or jpg artifacts |
Guest | February 22, 2011, 03:16:33 AM Really nice. I have to admit, though, I kind of expect to see an alien on his knees yelling "You maniacs!! Damn you all to hell!!" LOL The REv |
Guest | February 21, 2011, 11:22:50 PM Thanx both. No, Sock, I use Tierazon fractals as height maps in Bryce's symmetrical lattice to create objects. Always useful to use rings or stalks as iterations can produce spiky results. |
lenord | February 21, 2011, 11:19:06 PM You can always tell Bryce Water work, splendid composition |
