4) OTHERS - anything interesting that doesn't fit in 1, 2 or 3 :
as tips for post editing..as example i found that render at  least 50% bigger then desired size,then apply a very mild gaussian blur before scaling down (about 1px blur for 3200X 2200 ) give  better results, and even if you may expect the opposite a similar blur produce more neat and sharp results (Obviously after the slightly blurred image is scaled down.)

also tuts that include also the use of other programs (bitmap editor as Gimp , Photoshop, or 3d app as Bryce, Blender, Zbrush... or...) will fit in 4

NEW

My first "real" Mandelbulb3D tutorial. I'm glad to share it, and I hope you'll be able to use it. Feel free to ask any question.

Please mention the tutorial is any image you will create thanks to it, and post links to the images so I can enjoy your creations too!!

Thanks

Yes, this is what we also have in mind, a sticky topic with collected links for tutorials FAQ and all other stuff.

My question to an admin would be if it is possible that several (selected) people can modify this sticky post for updating, not only admins?

I agree... But for some reason people keeps on doing the same things and tends to do the same images. Only a few try new things. And everybody asks for tutorials all the time. whatever

Sticky, pinned (well at least if not become needed )

Tutorials  fiery The best teacher is just Doing, if you're afraid of doing something wrong you probably should'nt be doing it at all.

I don't need tut to explain what to do and how, but i found useful that explaining how thing works.

And i also love just experiments but more for discover something new, NOT to rediscover the Wheel that somebody else already invented...i prefer learn about the wheel so i may try to invent a bike (supposing the bike was not already invented )

EDIT

@Jesse oopss i think i understand only now your reply
I think the solution may be ask to a mod to add a first message using something similar to the template i post below... then the first message may be edited to include the tut signaled by the replies.

@PhotoComix:
As the topic seems to fit very well and the issue that you should be able to modify your first post, why not edit it by replacing it with your Tutorial List?

Then you could edit it still in future, but my question would be if someone else, like admins, could edit it as well to add links for example?

What i have in mind are several categories like you suggested and a collection of links to already answered topics here in this forum (FAQ).
Would be good if anyone could easily find those topics and double questions might be avoided.

@Lenord:
It is the best compliment if i see many people generating great stuff without asking much about how to use the program.
Nevertheless, it is good to reduce answering things again and to give answers to not that clear functions (and there always be such).
And nobody is forced to read it.  wink

I'm sorry if I never took the time to write a real tutorial. I give pieces of advice when I can. I just did a mini-tutorial once, that can be found here: http://bib993.deviantart.com/art/Classic-revisited-191010280
