I have been advocating this for a while, and it appears that someone else is doing it too

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/KTkadMdQu-I&rel=1&fs=1&hd=1" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/KTkadMdQu-I&rel=1&fs=1&hd=1</a>

The idea is simple: include additional parameters to scale the exponents of  phi, theta and r differently. The simplest version would be something like

x=r^n sin (p phi) cos (q theta)
y=r^n cos (p phi) cos (q theta)
z=r^n cos (p phi)

You can scale the powers of r, phi and theta differently for each of x, y and z also.

Here are my old videos

I don't want to be bothering everybody with this, but there is a lot of variety that is not being explored by keeping the parameter of the vector l;ength and the rotation angles in lockstep.
