Fractal Omega Racer - Mandelbox Hybrid - Normal and Stereo

Started this animation somewhen in 2012 and now more than 2 years later I have finished it. 
Again a flight into my beloved combination of 4 formulas (AmazingBox, _AmazingBoxSSE2, addC, sinY).
Searched a while to find a good map for the diffuse color.
An invisible positional light that does the journey in front us provide a sheen on the surface. But this effect is a bit lost due to the compression at youtube.
I have the feeling that the quality of the stereo version is a bit better.

Rendering time: 30 days for the stereo version. One of my longest renderings.
Alias of 2 was needed to get it smooth. Wasn't that easy to get a good quality with an "acceptable" rendering time.

Sorry for some artifacts and two collisions at the beginning. Noticed them at the final highres rendering and was too lazy to rerender the first part.

Fantastic! I hadn't been back to visit the forums in almost a year and was hoping to find something like this. The aesthetic is very well chosen and the shapes and route are stunning. Thanks for posting. I wish there was an easy way for people to post high-quality video files that we could download without the youtube compression, I would love to have a good-quality render to save and watch again.
