Hi Fractal Forums,

Nice to meet you all. I am very interested in fractals and the fractal nature of things, mostly intuitively, but I do have a basic mathematical understanding. I love their shapes especially, and observing/watching them. I sometimes see fractals in my dreams.

Music is my main passion, but I have made a lot of music which is inspired by the shapes of fractals and the ability to see these shapes in the imagination when listening to music. It's really fascinating to me. Electronic/computer music can be an especially good medium for this, but I also play classical music which has shapes that can seem fractal-like to me. It mostly has to do with the concept of melody, which can create lines which travel through the sound spectrum.

I'll share the main link to my musical activity here: https://soundcloud.com/andymalanowicz

and also some links to specific songs I think are especially fractally:

Thanks! look forward to hearing from you, and learning some from you.

Andy

I like music that challenges my idea of what music is. smiley Wish they were creative commons - always looking for interesting music for fractal vids.
Thanks for sharing!
