Hey,

Have been a long time fractal fan. Although I thought maybe I had kicked the habit, the sudden shift into 3d and getting my hands on Mandelbulb3d I don't think I will ever recover. Things have come a long way since the days of running Fractint on my ancient 386.

So I finally got around to joining the boards after lurking for many months. I really love what I have seen in the community here. Both in the enthusiasm from its members and the beautiful work technical or artistic. I would like to thank everyone for your help in producing some amazing images so far... Thanks  smiley

Welcome to the forums.  Mandelbulb 3D is definitely the most addictive piece of software I have ever come across.  I started my fractal life on Fractint many years ago in the early days of Windows and it's incredible how things have progressed.  What for the future?  Holographic Julia sets?  Who knows?  Anyway, nice to meet you.
