Hello,
I called my twin brother  (dringen in NH) a few of weeks ago, when I stumbled upon the Mandelbulb program.  He's the artist of the family, and has more free time than I do. We have been having great fun conferring about this program, and this forum.  I am really quite a newbie to fractals, since my brother introduced me to Apophysis 7 only a few months ago.

I have enjoyed seeing all the varying styles of fractals here.  I am getting a better "picture" of what makes a good render.    Haltenny's tutorials are, I found, a good way to get started. Thanks Hal!
I hope to be able to post more "finds", but it won't be real often because of work, etc.
Every time I come back here, I get all excited by what I see.  It's inspiring!
This is the first forum I have participated in, so I am rather new to all this.
BTW, if you're not sure, ME stands for Maine...
Thanks,
Farnoth
