Hi,

I aim to study 'fractal geometry' through distinct pieces of fractal art. Unlike the gaudy and complex images most people associate with fractal art, I focus on simple iterated geometric constructions that, in addition to having a certain aesthetic, also provide insight into fundamental properties of the geometric constructs involved.

Or at least I like to make that claim. I have yet to thoroughly analyse my pictures.

I will post some when I have more time.

I am willing to help you in your search for the mathematical aspects of the fractals.

Some of us are in it for the math, some for the eye-candy - there's something for everyone in fractals and something for every kind of fractal-lover in these forums. Don't be shy to share. Poor Jules needs more discussion. I never have anything mathematical to say wink

Welcome

To me fractals are complex images, however I would love to lurn about the area of fractals you are intrested in.

I am interested in Fractal Geometry as a base for making artificial human organs like blood vessels, lungs, kidneys, etc.

Greetings, and welcome to this particular Forum !!!     cheesy

Yes, the term "fractal art" tends to vary depending on the group/s one is involved with.  This is most likely due to the key word that is used:  ART      wink     And that word has caused many discussions, arguments, disputes, opinions, etc...

Hey :D

Thanks all for the welcome!

It is really nice to be here!

Sorry for the delay in getting any content posted, but ... well ... you know how it is.

I have been browsing the site a little more too - Amazing!

Here is a taster, more on the 'rate my fractal' board :-)
