Hi,

That's probably a dumb question that has already been asked, but is it possible to write your own formulas for Mandelbulb 3d?

Best,

Sam

Hopefully Jesse is working on a formula editor for v2.0 ??

But there is already a LOT to explore as it is! smiley

Thanks. Sure, but it's more fun to create yourself the object you'll explore... smiley

Yeah, a formula editor would be great... at least a basic one.
I don't want to be bothering Jesse again if I have another idea for a formula  embarrass

I've been studying fractals for a few years now. I even had a vission of a fractal univers inside a computer. I love mandelbulb 3d because of a the one pass rendering method wich is a lot faster. The one thing I dont like about it is that I don't know how to read, or write this "machine code" in the .m3f files. if theres anyone that know how I can learn it then let me know. I would love to be able to write my own 3d fractal formulas. At least I an pull out UF and write some 2d ones. I haven't done that in a while though. every one have a nice day now. Peace...

P.S. I just singed up the other day and this is my first post. I hope to be able to contribute to the Mandelbulb 3D scene in the nere future.
