Can I suggest Fractus4D? 4D because I suppose the application will be used for animation so 4th dimension will be the time.

Unfortunately, Fractus is a registered trademark. See FRACTUS Trademark Detail. They invented antenna technology based on fractals. See Fractus: The Story of the Innovation. I like the 4D part though! Thinking...

Mandelbulb 4D

Your idea for the name, I like the best! It abbreviates nicely to M4D, and "is similar" to the original name "Mandelbulb 3D". Also, the 4D nicely represents the fact that the software will make a push toward a better animation experience. Also, no version conflict with the possible future version 2.0 of the original Mandelbulb 3D.

PS: Thanks to Buddhi for the original 4D suffix suggestion!

Suddenly my brain came up with the only logical name for a completely remade Mandelbulb 3D... what came after the mandelbulb?

Mandelbox 3D

...of course, they all sighed...

Sorry Valera... I didn't read that last comment of yours... still think it is an unbeatable name though.  afro

My joke response wins without even being included in the poll options. Good stuff, I guess it is actually less clunky than the other suggestions.
