When I try to use this formula all I get is this ugly blob.  fiery

This is supposed to be Amazing Surf, _reciprocalX3, and OctahedronIFS.   sad

I see so many wonderful examples using this formula and all I want is to be able to do something similar, please help!

EDIT:

Did some searching and figured it out.  embarrass

perhaps you can even accompanie a little tutorial, by explaining what lead to the correct usage, as help for others
