I now have MB version 1.8.6Beta3...but as always, I'm having troubles with the formula directory. It only says "click tab to change directory." I wish it said more! Even the Help file doesn't tell me enough. I even tried copying and pasting the correct filepath that I want, from the previous version 1.8.2, but that isn't helping. I only get maybe one formula, or at most only a few, under each tab on the main formula dropdown window. I've had this same problem before but I don't remember what I did to solve it... Help, Jesse, or anyone!  praying

I'm having troubles with the formula directory. It only says "click tab to change directory.

First time you run 1.8.6 in new folder click No (See screenshot)
This will create an .ini file in the same folder as the 1.8.6 exe file.
See second screenshot to point the 1.8.6 exe to your existing formulas folder.
Click the buttons and navigate to your formulas folder and click open.
Click Save + exit  button.
Close and reopen the 1.8.6 application.

It seems like when I first opened 1.8.9, everything sort of fell into place automatically, no mucking around with the directories. 1.8.6 was a Beta, as I recall. Been a while since I worked with M3D, wasn't having a lot of luck with it on either of my computers so I've been away from it for a spell. I see such fantastic mindblowing art by you experts and it sorta makes me feel like my stuff isn't worth showing... I'm really much more talented in 2D art  grin

Glad to hear you had no problems with the latest release.   And there are a lot of modifications and areas worth exploring since the 1.8.6 release.

As is so apparently shown, in not only this forum but other venues as well, you cannot please everyone (especially those individuals that throw temper-tantrums and request their account to be removed)!!!   cheesy
Just post what you want to exhibit, and do not care about what others think of the image.   And you are always welcome to show off your Fractal Explorer images!!!
