There are many good reasons for not doing fractals, and a good one is that your PC does not work anymore. My hard disk crashed, it was impossible to boot Windows. I managed to backup my data using a bootable Ubuntu CD, and now I think I am fed up with Windows, I have installed Ubuntu (and it works on the same disk that Windows refused to boot!). So I'm discovering this fantastoc OS! I have of course installed Mandelbulber, but since I'm so used to M3D, I've tried Wine, so now I hesitate! smiley

Hi bib, could you please put the attached file into the m3d directory before you post those comparisons!
