Lightyears away

http://www.fractalforums.com/index.php?action=gallery;sa=view;id=19088

My last entry for the deep mandelbrot section.

This image is based on the song "Lightyears away" by Joe Satriani:
<a href="https://www.youtube.com/v/wBkQBIhiELI&rel=1&fs=1&hd=1" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/v/wBkQBIhiELI&rel=1&fs=1&hd=1</a>

The technique I used to create this morph is described here:
http://www.fractalforums.com/mandelbrot-and-julia-set/shortcuts-in-juliasets/
It builds up density very quickly and looks pretty cool.I tried using the newton raphson zooming but it simply doesn't work, it zooms in too much. Rendereing took one hour and 37 minutes.

Motivation is like a salt, once it has been dissolved it can react with things it comes into contact with to form something interesting. nerd
