This was made with Mandelbulb 3D and Gimp 2.8

After making a new Fractal wallpaper for my 27in iMac I thought I could do much
better, so I opened the fractal as a main layer in Gimp and added a layer for the water consisting of 3 colors a sea foam green,a blue, and a bright white
Then I added another layer to do the foam on the edge of the water.

After that everything was ok but the edge of the water was to hard so I took a  bubble brush and went around the edges of the water. And finally I used a animated speckle brush that moves so you can hold it down and not have a repeating pattern and I used it as an eraser so it soften up the edges of the water to make it look real
