Mandelbulber v2 installation, Mac

Mandelbulber version 2.11-1 on macOS Sierra 10.12.6

Just get Error: Can’t open file /Users/ … /share/mandelbulber2/qt_data/fractal_mandelbulb.ui Fractal ui file can’t be loaded

Then the following message window shows up: In Mandelbulber 2.10 the default data structure changed for linux and MacOS etc … Do you want to upgrade now to this new structure ? Program will restart after upgrade

Clicked ok, program restarts but same error behaviour

I manually copied the requested data to the location as mentioned in the error window
But is doesn’t seem to help, same error returns


Any advice ?

Hallo Rob, try again to install the sw using the .dmg file and after it fails execute the little script I have posted here.
You can always change the version of mandelbulber (eg "mandelbulber2-11-1") directly in the appleScript editor.

Steps done, but same error
Yes about that version, already tried

Standard i'm mot logged in as admin, already made my default user admin etc. tried all steps with that account but no luck

Well, it seems Mandelbulber is running and I can render things, besides the error
