Description: A quick play with the Heighway Dragon. Although just 2D this (I hope) shows the potential for increasing the range of colouring modes possible for colouring the surfaces of 3D fractals - in this case it's using a colouring called "Periodicity" which is extended well beyond the usual periodicity calculations. As with many colourings it uses various values from the "orbit" at each location though in this case it's not a standard orbit trap method.
