Kali | January 07, 2012, 05:39:07 PM Thanks bib & Rama. The original render was a bit noisy, the original Mandelbox DE don't work very well with this, maybe because the fractal itself is not solid, but a 2D surface (no width) extending in 3D. I guess the noise reduction filters I used later contributed to the look of the enviroment and the softeness of the back light. |
Rama | January 07, 2012, 10:15:38 AM Amazing environment. |
bib | January 07, 2012, 10:00:58 AM great render Kali, Superb ambiance, I like the flow of melded metal, and the light in the back. Looks like volumetric lighting, did you use Mandelbulber or is it regular M3D fog? Edit : OK, fragmentarium, I should have noted the "GPU touch" |
