Guest | March 11, 2011, 10:18:36 PM From what I've seen, Dringen's not bad with Mandelbulb either. I really want to get to know Apophysis as I love the wispy effect it has. With the right colour control you can get some lovely ethereal effects as you've managed here. Thanks for the advice. |
Farnoth | March 11, 2011, 10:09:53 PM Don't get discouraged, that's how I got all of these. What I do is, when something catches my eye in the mutations, I follow it. Usually, there are a couple that are similar, and I may alternate to keep the mutations going in the direction I want. Whenever I find something I think I might want to keep, I save that one under a slightly different name, and then work on it. Sometimes I find four or five in the same fractal, sometimes more. Now I have to go back and render them all. I also play with the colors as well. I'm pretty much of a newbie with it, though. My twin brother, dringen in this forum, is more of a veteran with Apophysis. I think he's been doing it for a year or two. He's really into Mandelbulb now, though, so I don't know if he is doing much with Apophysis. |
Guest | March 11, 2011, 08:50:37 PM Another Beauty, Farnoth. I've just started trying out Apophysis 7X and am sadly relying on the mutation tool as I'm having difficulty controlling the parameters. I'll get there one day! |
