From what I've seen, Dringen's not bad with Mandelbulb either.  I really want to get to know Apophysis as I love the wispy effect it has.  With the right colour control you can get some lovely ethereal effects as you've managed here.  Thanks for the advice.

Don't get discouraged, that's how I got all of these.  What I do is, when something catches my eye in the mutations, I follow it.  Usually, there are a couple that are similar, and I may alternate to keep the mutations going in the direction I want. Whenever I find something I think I might want to keep, I save that one under a slightly different name, and then work on it.  Sometimes I find four or five in the same fractal, sometimes more.  Now I have to go back and render them all.  I also play with the colors as well.  I'm pretty much of a newbie with it, though.  My twin brother, dringen in this forum, is more of a veteran with Apophysis.  I think he's been doing it for a year or two.  He's really into Mandelbulb now, though, so I don't know if he is doing much with Apophysis.

Another Beauty, Farnoth.  I've just started trying out Apophysis 7X and am sadly relying on the mutation tool as I'm having difficulty controlling the parameters.  I'll get there one day!
