Great picture.
I had problems with circle artifacts too. They smoothed out after decreasing the required distance from the fractal (around 1e-7 usually works well for me).

I like the coloring (orbit trap + color cycle, with very careful adjustment of Int. col start and col var on z) which makes a lot of details pop up, even in apparently dull areas.

Unfortunately I could not totally get rid of the kind of concentric circles artifacts that are due to ambient shadowing sad
