Interpolated hybrid 1 | ||||||
Previous Image | Next Image | ||||||
Description: An interpolated hybrid of a pow2 bulb and an icosahedron ifs. In this type of hybrid, both formulas a calculated in each iteration step independent, and the results are linear interpolated as 3d vectors. Here the icosahedron was weighted more than the pow2 bulb. A nice thing is that you can morph between the formulas smoothly, but it is a bit slower because both formulas must be calculated. Jesse | August 27, 2010, 08:54:31 PM yep similiar weights dont work very well on different formulas, but if you use only small weights you can distort bulbs in nice ways |
KRAFTWERK | August 27, 2010, 02:33:03 PM Cool Jesse, next release I guess? Would it be tecnically (mathematically) possible to choose how many percent each formula will "wheigh"? |
