Bent-Winged Angel | July 08, 2010, 04:33:38 PM Thanks Ross! I find it interesting that once I THINK I can recognize a fractal type I could be totally wrong. ![]() |
Ross Hilbert | July 08, 2010, 03:42:49 PM Thanks, but it's not a Julia :-) It is a Kleinian Group fractal generated using an IFS composed of several Mobius transformations that generates a Kleinian Group (http://www.fractalsciencekit.com/tutorial/examples/kleinat.htm). It is based on methods described in the excellent book "Indra's Pearls - The Vision of Felix Klein" by David Mumford, Caroline Series, and David Wright. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indra's_Pearls_(book) |
