Pauldelbrot: Its a close relative to the original order 2 Mandelbulb, where the spherical poles are removed by reflecting about the y-z direction. http://www.fractalforums.com/theory/choosing-the-squaring-formula-by-location/30/
Unfortunately, it doesn't translate to Mandelbulbs that well.

Very interesting shape -- closer to what many people would like to see in a 3D Mandelbrot than we usually manage to find.
