Description: Annother amazing surf. Forms like theese only exist in julia sets in Mandelbulber (in m3d they also appear in mset). Additionally you need "insane" julia constants @ abs(jz)>= 0.5, which is far above the surface. Anyhow grabbed jx and jy in m3d seem to be a good indication about where to find them. here's the setting: Code: # Mandelbulber settings file Stats: Total Favorities: 0 View Who Favorited Filesize: 269.75kB Height: 864 Width: 1152 Discussion Topic: View Topic Keywords: torsten stier taurus amazing surf mandelbulber Posted by: taurus August 20, 2016, 03:15:51 PM Rating: by 7 members. Sabine | September 11, 2016, 12:05:20 PM Very nice work! Such a shame that mb3d cannot reproduce these, I really get lost in mandelbulber every time I try it ;} |
Tim Emit | September 03, 2016, 02:16:29 PM really nice this... I have had a little play in bulber and it's very nice but I have to get it running more like the MB3D navi for me to find things as I use my eyes and not numbers : ) |
taurus | August 24, 2016, 10:22:10 PM thanks a lot guys. I appreciate that! @Louis and all potential m3d users a fast machine assumed, you can do the following:
you'll expierience an almost navigator feeling. Just a crutch... @Tglad 6feet is possible! The biggest one, I produced so far is around 6x3,3 feet (180x100cm) @ 80+ megapixel. To be seen in a restaurant in Germany. |
Tglad | August 24, 2016, 03:19:36 PM This is fantastic, should be hung in a gallery, 6 foot high with super high resolution! It reminds me of minibrots and the thin tendrils between them. |
LMarkoya | August 22, 2016, 04:41:19 PM Nice, will have to poke around in there...thank you for the params....Love the organic decomposed look of the pods |
taurus | August 21, 2016, 09:00:08 PM You're welcome knighty. Trying to increase popularity of my favorite fractal renderer. @mclarekin yes, I did some animation sequences in m3d with that kind of thingy. But animation with m3d is a pain in the a... I surely try some sequences in near future. |
mclarekin | August 21, 2016, 02:26:08 AM looks an interesting place for some flight animation. |
knighty | August 20, 2016, 10:00:54 PM WOW! Thank you for the params. |
