Living just below the Canadian border so I know what you mean about no fun.  My wife comes from Norway so I guess we're neighbors of a sort (in a vicarious way.)  You sound like a very interesting person and someone who actually knows what a fractal is...I enjoy looking at your pictures.  Perhaps we could continue our discussion about the Netherlands/Norway/fractals and how we make them via e-mail?  In another month or so it will start getting colder here and that means 4-6 months of -20 to -50 (plus wind chill) in the evening so there's not a lot you can do outdoors.  Here's my net address if you're interested:

Hope to hear from you...thom

It is beautiful Thom, an old fractal!  The first thing that comes up in my mind wink is that it is a part of a ancient ceremonial piece of cloth and  an archaeologist found it on a digging site. .Leather with embroidery made by a native tribe a long long time ago. One of these days we will see it exposed in a Museum.

Nice one, greetings from the rainy Netherlands.  No fun here sad
Have a nice weekend!
