Description: A discrete Volterra-Lotka Julia set where the single finite attractor is strange, but "just barely"; this is what you get when a limit circle is mildly destabilized, but remains attracting.

The blue "droplets" inside the basin are small regions of escaping points -- the basin is full of holes -- and the outer boundary is quite gnarled in this one. Black points escape, bluish points inside the "droplets" also escape, and all other points (including bluish points outside the "droplets") eventually tend to the glowing bright curve.
