The Solution - and the Cow playing hide and seek with Kepler featuring Me as the Strange Attractor | ||||||

Description: Roadmap of my interaction with fractalforums.com for the last 3.something years - and a hommage to all the beautiful "failed" attempts to find the holy grail of the 3D mandelbrot. Mandelbulb 3D + my own photos collaged in Photoshop. Only Clouds, Images of me and fractals added, the background landscape is one render: it was found on the surface of a box I have visited many times. Actually it is the first rotated mandelbox ever rendered ![]() It was in the image above I found the "Observer", see if you can spot him in the distant horizon… ![]() Another curiosity about this collage is the mandelbulb in the sky, my very first render of the new and exciting 3D mandelbulb (you can find it in the post (posted the 15th of December 2009!!!!!) here: http://www.fractalforums.com/mandelbulb-implementation/mandelbulb-ray-tracing-plugin-for-photoshop-aftereffects-and-quartzcomposer/msg9975/ ) to my latest render to the right. Brummbaer | July 13, 2013, 08:20:22 PM Wonderful, my type of fractal art. I too feel I have permission to bend and twist, to comp and paint my fractals until they say what my little brain demands. Set dem frackles free!!! Brummbaer |

Dermis | June 01, 2013, 08:35:19 PM Superb work, as always! The attention to detail in the lighting is truely remarkable! El Fabbo! =] |
KRAFTWERK | June 01, 2013, 04:22:11 PM![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And thank you Louis, fair critique about the multiple figures, I killed many darlings during the work on it but not the idea of displaying the beautiful "failures" as bulbheads. The original image featured only one and it has a greater impact somehow. "...and I think I like your shoes" ![]() *** |
knighty | June 01, 2013, 03:51:44 PM Salvador Dali is still alive! |

LMarkoya | June 01, 2013, 02:14:07 PM ALmost so good it sucks (like a black hole) Love the Fractal septre...and I think I like your shoes! Would not have repeated the figure....just think it would have lent more power to have one |
KRAFTWERK | June 01, 2013, 09:51:44 AM Thank you Torsten and Mark, this has been an ongoing project since I did the render where I found "the Observer" the rotbox landscape was so beautiful I had to do something with it, glad you like it! ![]() |
MarkJayBee | June 01, 2013, 12:12:08 AM I stand in abject awe Johan, you have outdone yourself with this one! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
taurus | May 31, 2013, 10:51:13 PM very nice composition, johan. and your way of saying things in looong titles. I would have had a much simpler solution: lemmings very surreal style in the best sense of the word - obviously, you saved the best for last... ![]() |
