Forms of Dusk | ||||||

Description: Forms of Dusk Oil on Canvas 12"x18" WIth dusk, the world of day meets evening and magic things happen. Has the huge form (made by the warm water and cool evening air) been inspired by the fantasmagorical shape of the driftwood? Or is it evolving in its own magic, the Forms of Dusk. Based on math and 3d fractals the organic and fluid shape enwraps the scene. Because there has been some doubt that the main form is in fact a 3D fractal I offer the params Mandelbulb3Dv18{ g....UZ....Y/...w....2I...kYg/758wQzzWTEHkntpqyjlYyrsPqxnzPWP8RBs67izA.vtSZGvqzj ................................dzGLEB9w602........Y./.........E.......UP/2...wD ...Uz6/........./Ak1/.....UHa...e.....E0.....UfnMXADm8hD/.kbk8BEJ..c.dkpXm1.5JJ/ ./E8Qx6D16../2UNaNaNaNa..1................................U0.....y1...sD...../.. .wnX0LzCLTPxxQz6FvnKE8bhq1ydyK1x/qBUUhfjcksp6/5JwuH1prYlVdxlyg1uGFrIGYgDUemvfphu WunUqxtOri0nyG5OMZg9VUgDU.....Ii1.............kD.2....sD/.G..................... .............oAnAt1...sD....zw1...................................kbk8BE3....k1. .....Ksulz1.......kzoZjtWW../kB.t....g/...E8....o/3a/U4..YUK....xzzzz11A...UevrF ...U.eJMZFrVZNZHZWNVmI7Ue/U.5c..Xh4R/.E2ZRBEi7yj6AA2QifFjz9..0........k/8..IIV3. .gySnbiney9.np0CG3Asz0...........QW0.UYGB/..2RiGMQZhzqVPAI91pRxj.gM3ZaYq1z96Yc.. LMarkoya | May 05, 2013, 10:25:23 PM Thank you all for the positive comments, I do love the feel of this painting and I am pretty much dedicated to utilizing fractals to accentuate life, truth and mysticism in my paintings. New works in the job jar, but working on several sculpture objects with painting first |
Madman | May 05, 2013, 07:39:43 PM Awesome piece, Louis! Perfect combination of digital and traditional art ![]() |

taurus | May 04, 2013, 02:50:27 PM Wow Louis. Your skill in integrating fractals in your painting concepts, seem to increase dramatically. It's the best I saw from you so far and should be amog the best in compo to date. Very nice work! ![]() |
Dinkydau | May 04, 2013, 12:18:23 AM Awesome painting |
LMarkoya | May 03, 2013, 07:32:18 PM I'm keeping the params for that particular form of dusk for myself...with all due respect to my wife ![]() |

Alef | May 03, 2013, 06:35:52 PM "Because there has been some doubt that the main form is in fact a 3D fractal" - Do the parameters will generate spactacular rear side, too? |
KRAFTWERK | May 03, 2013, 08:09:28 AM Just great Louis! I had to try out those parameters. I love the transition from fractal to (sur)reality. Makes me long back to the scent of turpentine and canvas. |
