Paris Apartments
Previous Image | Next Image
Description: Somehow, this render made me think of my visits to Paris. Paris radiates a certain ambiance of prosperity in decline. Maybe it's just me, but I always have a feeling when I walk around in  Paris that I'm visiting a city that once used to be great, but can't really cope anymore with modern times. Or maybe it's just that every apartment I ever visited in Paris, made me feel like Trelkovsky was watching me from just around the corner...

Edit 29/10: I somehow uploaded the wrong picture (too much DOF). Corrected

Maybe so... I'm actually working on a render called Rome right now, but I can't tell you yet if it will ever be posted undecided

Hmm, didn't have that in mind (in fact I never heard of this building before your comment...) when posting this, but now that you mention it, there's an eerie resemblance...

How very somber.  Reminds me of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building, circa 1995.
