The Copper plated Ant of GreedCLAUSTROHOLICCelestial Evacuation
CLAUSTROHOLIC
Previous Image | Next Image
Description: The way you feel when you've spent a whole weekend inside a Klein Bottle with a mandelbulb as your only partner.

I also imagine this could be the way one could feel after being trapped for a long time in a prison cell or similar, and feel very insecure when let out of it.

Inspired by the wonderful photograph "Piss Christ" by Andres Serrano:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piss_Christ

Thank you for the new transparency feature Jesse, I have been longing to do this…

I will post an outside view of this scene soon...

Thank you Louis, The Piss Christ connection was more of colors and transparency than conceptual... And I promise you the original render looks great wink

Agreed on the over watermaked cheesy
Nice concept Johan...love the transparency and look of the "hot molten glass" but think if you could have gotten different coloring in the bulb the whole thing would be more effective (even if it was rendered seperately and comp'ed

Looks like a bulb trying to escape a black hole to me

and while I know the work "Piss Christ", I do not see or feel the connection

Thank you Mark wink
OK, I stand corrected...  afro I think it is too easy for myself to "think it away" from the image...
I will be more subtle when I post the outside view, and I will also give you credit for the hint about using thin walls, Thank you for the help Mark!

Great idea Johan, and a - potentially - interesting image; but  possibly a wee bit over watermarked?  undecided
Get the compositional thing, but personally, wouldn't use oneself as an element, unless
very confident of your handsomeness?!  wink
