Description: Just playing around with Jesse's new d.IFS stuff. I'm struggling to understand the relation between the formula's and why they sometimes seem to influence one another and sometimes not. But even without understanding what you're doing, you can inadvertently push the right buttons and turn the right dials and suddenly end up with something nice. It's just a shame that there is a bug in this version of M3D that sh*ts like a bird...

Guest | January 15, 2012, 01:46:36 AM Apologies. I've been thinking - maybe it's not a bug in the navigation anyway but a mathematical problem or something. I know nothing! |
Madman | January 14, 2012, 09:45:11 PM Thank you, all! The "buggy" reference was meant to explain the spots on the bottom left tile and not as an M3D bug report |
dainbramage | January 14, 2012, 05:54:15 AM Most Excellent! |
FractalJam | January 14, 2012, 04:09:28 AM Cool, looks like billions of little terragens |
Guest | January 14, 2012, 03:29:10 AM Beautiful work! I'm finding the new version a bit buggy too - especially the navigation controls, but tha dIFS formulas are a fun new toy, though difficult to do anything interesting with. You and Lenord especially have proved that it's possible. |
reallybigname | January 14, 2012, 02:56:04 AM Really cool. |
