jgabase | September 20, 2013, 10:53:41 PM Many thx. this is the formula to render it. You have to use logarithmic insight or geometric amplification. Z(n+1) = Z(n)^2 - Z(n)^(-0.08) + 0.4 |
ScruffyOne | September 20, 2013, 10:08:00 PM stunning. |
jgabase | December 22, 2011, 06:03:14 PM Many thanks for your feedback. The formula will be included together with many others in a Parametric Explorer to be released in one or two years time. Most probably as freeware. It is a simple formula without Conditional Statements however, the behavior of this fractal under iterations is so strange that I´m still looking for the best way to render it. I was unable to do it with commercial applications. |
David Makin | December 22, 2011, 04:27:39 AM Excellent, nice to see someone else still getting excited in just 2D You gonna give us any clues as to the formula/s for this one ? |
Guest | December 22, 2011, 03:39:41 AM Nice one, great render. I know what you mean...I had to install a seat-belt on my chair when I started working with Mandelbulb3D... |
