kameelian | December 30, 2011, 07:30:12 PM Kinda like the lagoon at Venice already is, rather than the Dam might be. A brilliant steal from Earth Maps Kam |
LAV | December 27, 2011, 09:34:06 AM Best fractal image I have ever seen. Really. I'd like to see the water a little more bluish. Even with a touch of postprocessing. But it's a personal point of view. |
Madman | December 24, 2011, 08:32:38 PM @ taurus: This one slipped by with SSAO15... I changed ambient shadows to SSAO24r which looks a lot better: It's on my wall now at 60 X 90 cm... @bib: Hmm, a flyover. That's not gonna be easy on an inside render... I might try it one day. Be patient |
bib | December 24, 2011, 01:13:48 AM That's really a great piece. I love it. Super job! I wanna see a flyover |
taurus | November 30, 2011, 11:07:03 PM yes, nifty coloring! with some work on the water plane, the fake would be perfect. |
Madman | November 29, 2011, 09:44:59 PM Thanks guys! |
Power 8 | November 29, 2011, 02:33:16 AM Wow! A great discovery! Bravo! |
dainbramage | November 29, 2011, 01:26:32 AM Great concept! |
reallybigname | November 28, 2011, 09:46:11 PM Super awesome! |
Madman | November 28, 2011, 07:21:02 PM Well it was intended to look real, so I must have succeeded Thanks for all your comments! I must admit that the colouring was a bit of a lucky shot (especially the "water"). Geometry comparable to this is rather easy to find by using Jesse's inside rendering (although inside rendering in itself is a bit of a challenge...). |
KRAFTWERK | November 28, 2011, 01:23:58 PM W O W, just WOW, I love this kind of finding! Great job with the coloring too you mad man! |
MarkJayBee | November 28, 2011, 10:49:30 AM Wow! Impressive futuristic vista MM! |
trafassel | November 27, 2011, 11:33:01 PM Looks like a very large fractal town. How much inhabitats? Infinity? Very impressive finding ( I also thought first, it was a Google Earth picture). |
Don Whitaker | November 27, 2011, 10:47:44 PM Wowser. I did a double take on this one - thought it was a shot from Google Earth. Very cool! |
