bib | December 29, 2010, 05:09:51 PM Agree with you Madman. Moved to another board |
Madman | December 28, 2010, 08:43:23 PM I agree with Lenord.. It's better w/o the canvas. But... does this belong in the M3D gallery? I know it's not deviant art here (thank God, or whoever you like...), so there's some room to deviate (...) but glueing together several images made in the same program is not the same as making them in that program, is it? Seems like a good question for a moderator to ponder about |
Jesse | December 28, 2010, 07:34:27 PM did not knew that m3d has a frame option what a rectilinear lense can be all used for... |
lenord | December 28, 2010, 06:14:59 PM Oh yeah, that's the ticket. I like the Canvas finish on lots of stuff but with Highly detailed Fractals it kind of muddles the issue. The Gimp is a cool Open Source piece of software, I picked up Project Dogwaffle a while back on that Giveaway of the Day site, it's pretty trick too. |
bib | December 28, 2010, 05:42:21 PM You're right lenord, That was a kind of test as I just started to explore GIMP and discover the various filters. Here is the original image if you want to appreciate the details: [/URL] |
lenord | December 28, 2010, 05:27:25 PM Splendid work, very polished look with the canvas finish on it. Maybe it's because of the reduced size and detail for posting here but for me the finish detracts from image but that's just me. |
