This reminds me more of Van de Wahl forces between plates. However it could be a model of any electromagneto dynamic interaction between plates. Some of the shapes are reminiscent of magnetic field dynamics in permeable substances, but the gravitational type wells around or beneath the spherical objects are interesting.

It could also be a model of the space time manifold depending on how it was generated.
