Some more information on how to do this kind of image: Basically the idea is to map a slope formula with lighting coloring into trapshape and trap texture slots in a class-based trap coloring formula. (Is it really me writing this chinese ?!!)

Formula : sam's Trapinski circles
Coloring : mmf's smooth orbit traps
>Trap shape : Trapeshape block (actually I nested 2 trapshape blocks but can't remember why, probably because I changed the Trap scale somewhere)
>> Trap shape : Formula + gradient coloring Trap
>>> Fractal : Slope
>>>> Fractal Formula : Celtic Julia (the brown/orange shapes)
>>>> Outside coloring : Lighting
> Trap Texture :  Formula + gradient coloring Trap
>> Fractal : Slope
>>> Fractal Formula : Cayley Switch (the green triangle shapes)
>>> Height value : Slope Basics
>> Outside coloring : Lighting

I feel there are not enough fractal formulae available as objects in UF to use as trap shapes and/or textures. No IFS?
