taurus | June 21, 2013, 10:41:58 PM Stunning fractal-works as last year. A little pitty that it seem to vanish at times behind win95 graphics - especially in the beginning. |
LhoghoNurbs | June 07, 2013, 10:47:52 AM Perfect terrains and vegetations. Amazing. If there is a metacontest of fractal contests, I'd like this video to represent the Fractal Forums contest. |
mclarekin | June 02, 2013, 10:54:00 AM At a second viewing it is even more amazing. Concept, camera work, environments and detail, it all adds up to a fractal video treat. |
knighty | June 01, 2013, 03:53:28 PM Most excellent... and funny. |
slon_ru | June 01, 2013, 12:57:50 AM Very nice camera work & great move ! |

trumanbrown | May 15, 2013, 08:14:13 PM Fantastic, lots of fun to watch! A lot of thought and work went into this, I'm sure. |
Guest | May 15, 2013, 06:07:18 PM This was done with GPU scripts - all ray marching. Everything is fractal except the main characters and some simple flat terrains. Even the greek temple is built fractally though with just a few iterations. The water and clouds are sine waves piled up (scale, rotate, translate just like a typical fractal). The music is made with sloth canons (idea from tunesmithy) where the baseline is the melody only slowed down, so self similar at different scales. Took about a week to program and render. - Which is quite slow for GPU. It was fun |
CeleXaoS | May 15, 2013, 09:06:18 AM This is Amazing !! I love the crazy eyed character, i find him really cute. And to repeat Kraftwerk's question did you import voxels to a 3d program and if so is the water a feauture of this program or is it fractal related? |
KRAFTWERK | May 15, 2013, 08:24:36 AM Holy Mandelbrot! How did you do this eiffie? What planning and work you have put into it with the camera movements and everything. How did you mix the fractal landscapes with the water and all, did you export as voxels? |
mclarekin | May 15, 2013, 02:57:28 AM A cliff hanger, I'm on the edge of my seat, what happens next. Really like it. |
Kali | May 14, 2013, 11:23:13 PM Masterpiece!! |
cKleinhuis | May 14, 2013, 10:40:21 PM haha eiffie, you are the story teller too bad i had to watch it in low quality, will rewatch tomorrow, great scene setup loved the light beams greece tempel and the lightning weather! hope it wont be your last entry |
