That is absolutely true, I have done many hours of croquis drawing, that makes you really see shapes... and the non-shapes of the surroundings of the "object"...  wink

i had 12 semester periods per week reproducing (architectural) free hand drawing. this doesn't make an artist, but it teaches like nothing else to see and observe precisely. grin

cool! i suffered from a lack of motivation lately, but i think this is challenging enough to go for some new tries.
your image comes out great, especially the subtle play of blue backlight and yellow positional light shows once more the magic, all of your images share - regardless of used formula.
i hope i'll find someting coequal in near future... wink
