As indicated in the keywords this is a rhombic dodecahedron made out of the MengerIFS formula. Change CScale Z to 0 and you yeld an octahedron instead. Change then CScale Y to 1 and you get a cuboctahedron (outwardly identical to Darkbeam's Haferman3 formula at scale 2) By playing a bit more with the CScale parameters we can also get the truncated cube, the truncated octahedron, the great rhombicuboctahedron and perhaps some more I haven't found yet. |
