Description: Electric Pigs
-------------------------------------------
This is my entry for the 7th Annual Fractal Art Competition 2014 and a collaboration with the Pegleg Pig who contributed the Music.

About the title: you have to watch the whole video ;-)

I put a lot of effort and power into this video and want to thank my family for supporting me :-)
The video is dedicated to my father, who will probably never notice it, but he is like me, always a lot to do, and no time for anything ;-)

Some boring facts: I created 25806 files (21,3 GB of data) to create this video and used several computers to render it.
All fractals are absolutely raw fractals, generated and animated using the free JWildfire software. I have created a special version of this software to help to create this video, which is still ALPHA, but will be officially released soon.
The only modifications to the generated images are few simple transitions and reduction of brightness in the final stage of the video, but all of the main effects are just plain flame-fractals with added motion-blur :-)

Thanks again for the Pegleg Pig for contributing the music, you are great!

Go Pig! cheesy

Conceptually very busy! This level of activity suits a visual light display to a rock and roll song, and for that it is excellent, but it obscures some truly remarkable animation!

I feel you have a life's work compressed into a five minute piece! I hope you will utilise this resource to produce extended clips of many of the elements with various colour palettes to highlight aspects hidden in the dark!

Good job

Really nice, Andreas. Indeed very dynamic fireworks. The fast motion is a little stressy, but apt for that kind of music. Some points, where I see potential for improvement:
  • the main color scheme gets a little boring over time. some more color variations could make it even more interresting.
  • the number of forms and morphs shown here is enormous. Therefore it's an excellent demo for the wide variety of possibilities of your software. But for artistic expression, I'd suggest to filter "the big ones" and give them more space. As Christian I see 3:53 and maybe 1:28 as good starting points. I'm sure you can complete this list easiely yourself

All in all a striking piece of music video - very lively and dynamic.
Keep on rockin'  dance moves

This is the kind of videos that you cannot describe with a single snapshot. Now I understand why you have given this still image.

Usually I tend to prefer slower motion, because fast motion scratches my brain. Your animation was one of the most dynamic ones, yet I felt completely OK with its nonstop motion. This is great.
