Newtonian Fluid Motive as SpaceTime Manifold
Previous Image | Next Image
Description: This is a julia mode sculpture for a trochoidal formula that demonstrates my current research into Newtonian Fluid Motive
http://my.opera.com/jehovajah/blog/2013/07/09/newtons-alchemy-aquest-to-understand-the-active-principles-and-define-stickines

The formula is found in some notes and musings
http://my.opera.com/jehovajah/blog/2013/07/17/newtonian-fluid-motive-as-spacematter

and the images represen only the first stage of a full exploration.

This sculptue was chosen because it is actually a positive image of the stored motive. The dark areas represent regions of high veloccity motive while the solid surfaces represent where the motive is in equilibrium wih some counter motive.

This appearance of solodoty is due to the powerful competing motives cancelling each other out in a strain filled space. The black areas are whwere this equilibrium does not hold, and the boundary surfaces are where stress motives are acting. Because this image is cleaned up some of these actions are only indicated by colour patterns.
