Strange Telepathy | ||||||
Previous Image | Next Image | ||||||
Description: Three faceless entities approach you. Their thoughtwaves hum and vibrate in the night air. Are you receiving? I've exhibited this piece at a couple of online sites, and on my blog, but this is the first time I've presented it on Fractal Forums. The original image was created in Mind Boggling Fractals and further processing was done in GIMP and Sterling. My technique is to hit buttons at random until something catches my attention. The original image had the 'bodies' mirrored top and bottom, so there were in effect two bodies for every head. Right away I saw the black circles as heads in some weird form of communication. That gave me the title. A friend commented "Very clever but it is quite unsettling, not to say disconcerting. I wouldn’t like to turn my back on it too long.” When she said that, I knew I'd got it right. Caleidoscope | May 22, 2014, 11:00:15 AM Indeed an interesting scene. Thought psychedelic first with some brainwaves. But your description is right to the point. And like your friend said if 'that' approaches you, you better get the hell out of there. ![]() |
