Paradigma Shifting | ||||||
Previous Image | Next Image | ||||||
Description: Back to the world of Paradigma i had my approach to the new volumetric light. Trying to keep the background i used it in a minimalistic way. Probably it would look more impressive if i had faked it but in this case i had to layer a separate dynamic fog render instead because it was replaced by the VL. I guess it would have been better the other way round. The foreground is a little bit dark but this is what a strong backlight does (i think). Anyway .. to me it was nice to visit this place again and to see it in a different light. ![]() Hope you like it. Sitting Duck | April 28, 2013, 01:39:14 PM Very beautiful and Alien. I'm curious, what do you mean by MC? |
lxh | April 10, 2013, 10:14:31 AM Thanks for the positive feedback guys! ![]() @Jesse: You make me curious. Maybe it leads to the long awaited volumetric dynamic enlightened fog. ![]() @Johan: Believe it or not ... it is MC. You might see it in the discreet indirect lighting behind some of the bigger stones (or whatever it is ![]() |
KRAFTWERK | April 10, 2013, 09:22:27 AM Wow, Wery nice scenery, just needs some MC and it is finished! ![]() |

RedBug | April 09, 2013, 11:53:19 PM Beautiful panorama! As I just commented to KRAFTWERK - everyone is going crazy about the volumetric light, guess Christmas came early ! ![]() Now just use it for all ur masterpieces as Kali commented eariler if I don't recall wrongly. Super nice horizon - foreground and back. Buy me a ticket and I promis I will go. |
Jesse | April 09, 2013, 10:00:41 PM very nice, and i found a way for saving some bits in the light structure, so both - dyn fog and vol light - should be possible. just need 2 values for the normals and only the sign from the 3rd, the amount can be back calculated by sqrt(1 - n0*n0 - n1*n1) |
Dermis | April 09, 2013, 08:50:04 PM Superb! =] |
