| January 09, 2012, 12:04:42 AM Yeah the DodecahedronIFS is no new formula, if you load the IcosahedronIFs and use the exact same parameters you'll see that you'll obtain the exact same image because they are the same, all that changes between the two formula files are the default settings. I have been using that since more than a year to make dodeca stuff (and gave the dodeca params which hardly anyone seems to have used since then): http://www.fractalforums.com/index.php?action=gallery;sa=view;id=2815 Cheers and congrats again for that very nice pic you've just made. |

| January 08, 2012, 08:54:46 PM Very nice pice but this is not DarkBeam's formula, it's basically Jesse's IcosahedronIFS formulas whose params I have edited so it gives a dodeca as a starting point instead of an icosa and which Darkbeam has been cool enough to include in his formula collection, his own implementation of the dodecahedron which is a completely different formula is the one called DodecahedronIFSex. |
