I couldn't help myself.  I needed to see it without noise!

In photoshop, I used:
Filters > Noise > Reduce Noise.  (set with preserve to 0 and sharp to 50%).
Image > Adjust Equalize > Faded that about 50%.
Filters > Noise > Reduce Noise.  (same setting)
