Description: A 2D Mandelbrot zoom feels kind of flat compared with the amazing 3D films in this sections, anyway it is fun to participate.  By using the end values of z (z=z^2+1) and not only the iteration count, I can add a metalish look to the fractal. The fact, that it is 2D, is not a problem by itself. 2D could be as provocative, inspirational and expressive as 3D. Do you plan to improve this animation by adding some twist, a personal artist's touch or something that will make it stand out from the other Mandelbrot set's deep zooms? |
