I just launched the rendering of an animation based on this family of fractals (negative box with slightly varying scale, plus some little rotations), with the same coloring. As usual, this will be a zoom out/zoom in. No morphing. Stay tuned!  evil
I love 3D spirals  afro

This will be exciting! Now we have another infinit well to dive into!  afro

That animation is beautiful, would be interesting to see this morphing on the neg scale box...

So let me share the tip with the community:

negative Amazing box
_Rotate

In fact I had discovered a long ago that rotations were a very nice addition to K-IFS:

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/UExGx9rKEXY&rel=1&fs=1&hd=1" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/UExGx9rKEXY&rel=1&fs=1&hd=1</a>

More recently I tried playing with rotations on top of K-IFS again, then added some Amazing box after, but got no very interesting results. I simply forgot to replace K-IFS with Amazing box, and KRAFTWERK gave me the recipe for his new "Octorok" series.

@Trifox, I will try to do an animation when I have some time. I really would like to see the dynamics of these spirals...

@Jesse : yes, at last I found a quite repeatable process to get 3D spirals wink
